Barbara Ellen Taggart Williams Hot Springs - On Saturday, February 2, 2019, our beloved Barbara Ellen Williams, age 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior following a two-year battle with cancer. Barbara will forever be remembered as a loving mother and wife. She is survived by her adoring husband of 53 years, Danny and their children Benjamin Patrick and Christopher Carey (Rebecca). She will be fondly remembered by her three grandchildren, Braxton Patrick, Lillie Claire, and Benjamin Bowen and her two siblings, Burt Taggart, Jr. (Jeannie) and Alice Diane McWhorter. She is predeceased by her parents, Burt and Alice Belle Taggart of Greenville, MS. The epitome of a true southern lady, Ms. Barbara was often recognized for her beautiful décor, especially around Christmas. Nothing made her happier than having her children and grand-babies opening presents arou her Christmas tree, even if she had misplaced a few of the gifts. Barbara's passion for family extended to her friends and local cancer foundations. Her strength as a two-time cancer survivor provided encouragement to others facing similar battles. For all who knew her, Barbara was a committed and loving friend, aunt, sibling, mamaw, mother, and wife. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, 155 Section Line Rd, Hot Springs, AR.
