GREENVILLE Graveside services for Edgar Scott Minton, 56, of Greenville, a licensed practical nurse, will be today at 11 a.m. at the Greenville Jewish Cemetery. He died of heart failure Aug. 20, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Minton was a native of Greenville, Miss., where he graduated from high school. He attended Delta State University and later received his L.P.N. license from Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead. He was employed with Delta Regional Medical Center and at the local nursing homes in Greenville until his illness in 1992. He was a member of the Hebrew Union Congregation in Greenville.
Survivors include his mother, Elaine Baker Minton of Greenville; one uncle, Edgar V. "Breezy" Baker of Greenville; two cousins, Docia Baker England of Greenville and Bob Baker of Charlotte, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetic Association or the Hebrew Union Temple.
