Funeral services for Robert Edwin Cunningham III, 64, of Greenville will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011, at St James Episcopal Church in Greenvillle. He died Monday, February 14, 2011. Burial will follow at Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Thursday at the St James parish hall.
Robert was born in Florence on January 17, 1947 to the late Dr. Robert Edwin and Louise Woods Cunningham Jr. He graduated from Greenville High School and Millsaps College, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He was a communicant of St. James Episcopal Church and was to serve as the incoming Jr. Warden. Robert and Searcy operated Robert Cunningham Realty in Greenville, which Robert founded in the late 1970s.
He was predeceded in death by his sister, Judy Cunningham Crosby of Franklin, Tenn.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Searcy Lawler Cunningham; by a brother George (Dottie) Cunningham of Tacoma, Wash.; by five children: Martha Cunningham (Brian) Ratay and Cariker Cunningham of Portsmouth, N.H., J.L. (Cindy) Wilson of Greenwood, Hillary (Tyler) Horn of Greenville and Medora Wilson of Oxford. "Bebop" is also survived by seven grandchildren: Paul, Lawler and Caroline Horn; Ava Enriquez; and James, Wells and Hilliard Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Animal Welfare League, P.O. Box 4902, Greenville, MS, 38704.

Robert Chow
Gosh, i met him few years back, had cup coffee at his home near hwy 82. still friendly as ever. he always called me chow wow. it seemed whenever we were together, at least eight, robin, claudie, bill bell, ed la foe, sammy were in the crowd. we aways up to some mischief, small stuff but fun. i'll missed him as friend and classmate.
